Conditions during the high demand season
We want to tell you about the high-demand season so you are aware of how it can affect shipments. At this time of year, which includes events such as Black Friday, Cyber Monday and the Holidays, shipping volumes grow tremendously and this puts a lot of pressure on logistics networks and carriers. This season typically runs from early October through mid-January.
During these months, it is common for carriers to prioritize the most recent shipments (LIFO, Last In, First Out system) to handle the heavy flow. This means that some earlier shipments may take a little longer than usual. We know these delays can be frustrating, but we want you to know that we and the carriers are working flat out to minimize any inconvenience.
At the transportation logistics platforms, packages are usually processed in less than six minutes, but during peak season, the volume of shipments can overwhelm even automated systems that handle tens of thousands of packages per hour. This can lead to backlogs and, in some cases, delays. In addition, if for some reason the traceability of your package is lost, we need to respect the legal deadline that carriers require (15 days from the loss of traceability) to locate it. If finally the shipping company is unable to find the package, do not worry: we will send a new package or we will refund your purchase. In either case, your purchase is completely guaranteed.
Another important issue is that, at this time of the year, delivery schedules and carrier services may change. Therefore, the delivery dates we provide are approximate. Although we cannot guarantee an exact day, we do our best to ensure that your order arrives as soon as possible.
