LEARN HOW TO PREPARE MATE IN 3 STEPS
Learning how to prepare mate is easy. All you need is yerba mate, hot water, and the desire to enjoy the moment.

FILL THE MATE WITH YERBA
Fill the mate around three-quarters full with yerba. Then tilt it slightly so the yerba gathers on one side and leaves a small empty space on the other. That is where you will pour the water.

INSERT THE BOMBILLA
Place the bombilla into the empty space where there is less yerba, pressing it gently toward the bottom. Try not to move it afterward so it does not get clogged.

ADD HOT WATER AND ENJOY
Pour hot water (70–80°C) near the bombilla. Drink the first mate and keep refilling it each time it is finished. That way, you can enjoy it for a long time.
