A Little Piece of the Pampas in Europe
I could tell you that this all started as a simple family adventure, but the truth is that Pampa Drugstore was born from something much deeper: nostalgia, a love for our roots, and a deep desire to stay connected to Argentina, even when living far away.
We began this journey in 2003 with a small shop in the heart of Barcelona. What started as a dream built around mate and conversations gradually became a meaningful mission: bringing a little piece of our homeland to Europe.
I clearly remember those early days: everything took hard work, dedication, and plenty of enthusiasm. But there was something else, too — something that motivated us every morning. It was the desire to help other Argentinians and Uruguayans rediscover the flavors of their childhood, and that warm feeling of being “at home,” even when thousands of miles away.
From a Small Shop to All of Europe
As time went by, we continued to grow. In 2008, we took another important step and launched our online store. It was a challenge, of course, but it also opened the door to people across Europe who were looking for a way to stay connected to the flavors and traditions they missed.
In 2015, we moved to a larger shop on the same street, Carrer del Carme 7, just a few steps from Las Ramblas in central Barcelona. This new space allowed us to expand our range of products and welcome more people with the warmth we had always wanted to share.
Today, more than 20 years later, we ship orders across Europe, bringing Argentinian and Uruguayan products, traditional foods, mate, dulce de leche, alfajores, and other much-loved favorites closer to the people who miss them.
We prepare every parcel with the same care and affection that inspired us from the very beginning, knowing that what’s inside is more than just products: it’s stories, memories, and emotions.

We Are a Family
None of this would have been possible without our incredible team. Franca, Joaquín, Belén, Sofi, Flavia, Guillermina, Pablo, and Axel are the people who take care of every detail, answer every question, and make each customer’s experience special.
Alejandro keeps everything running like clockwork, making sure every part of the operation works as it should. My role, on the other hand, focuses on e-commerce, social media, and marketing, always with the hope that every order will be more than just a delivery — that it will be a little piece of our roots, sent with heart and soul to the person waiting for it.
We are a family. And that is perhaps our greatest strength.
Our Purpose
For us, Pampa Drugstore is much more than a business. It is a way to honor who we are, share our traditions and flavors, and bring a little of the warmth we carry within us to others. It is our way of saying, “We’re still here,” even when we are far from where it all began.
We want to thank everyone who chooses us, recommends us, and comes back. Thank you for your trust, for being part of our journey, and for allowing us to continue doing what we love.
Because being Argentinian — or Uruguayan — is about more than the place where you were born. It means carrying a feeling that distance cannot erase. And here, from Barcelona, we keep that feeling alive and strong.
