When the American Melville Sewell Bagley arrived in Argentina and in 1864 founded the company that bears his name, he never imagined that more than 150 years later he would produce the most consumed cookies by Argentines.
They are two round vanilla caps sprinkled with grated coconut, filled with fluffy strawberry-flavored meringue. It is one of the cookies chosen by all Argentines for several generations.
Ingredients: The dough contains flour, butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla essence; and the filling is produced with sugar, glucose, unflavored gelatin, cold water, strawberry essence, red coloring and grated coconut.
It is the perfect accompaniment for children's breakfast or snack.
