Curved bombilla with spring 14 cm

What it is and what it’s for

Curved 14 cm bombilla made of nickel-plated brass, with a fixed spring that opens for cleaning the filter. Lets water through while holding back yerba dust, so it doesn’t reach your mouth. A simple, affordable model designed for daily mate. The curve makes it comfortable and easy to use.

Product details

How to use, prepare or care for it

Insert the bombilla into the mate, on the side where you tilted the yerba, and pour water in that area. The fixed spring opens for cleaning inside and removing yerba residue. After each use, rinse with hot water and occasionally use a bombilla brush to keep the water flowing. Store the bombilla dry to keep the nickel-plated brass in good condition.

What to pair it with

Works with any mate cup, especially wide-mouthed ones. Pair it with your favourite yerba and a thermos to keep water hot. If you use it often, a bombilla cleaning brush is handy to keep it unclogged and the water flowing well.

Frequently asked questions

Can the spring bombilla be taken apart?

Yes, this model has a fixed spring but it opens for easy cleaning. After each mate, rinse with hot water and use a bombilla brush or pressurised water for the inside. It’s a simple, practical option for daily mate.

What mate cups is this bombilla suitable for?

It fits almost any mate: gourd, wood or glass. Being curved and 14 cm long, it’s comfortable for medium and wide-mouthed mates. The spring filters fine yerba and prevents clogging, so it also works well with finely ground yerbas.
